History: Amora was known by many names throughout every era of Ragnarok, including Freyja ("the Lady"), Mardoll ("Sea-Bright"), and Gefn (“the Giver”). A symbol of feminine perfection, she was once the only Asgardians who could convince Yggdrasil the World Tree to relinquish the Golden Apples the Asgardians relied on to retain their wisdom, youth and vigor. However, in later Ragnarok cycles her role as the keeper of Yggdrasil’s Apples was usurped by others. Centuries ago, she ran away to Nornheim, the land of the Norns, where she studied under the master sorceress Queen Karnilla until she was expelled for being too undisciplined. She studied additional sorceress abilities by seducing Asgardians mages and wizards, thus earning the moniker of "Enchantress."

In the centuries that followed, Amora the Enchantress often schemed against Asgard to further her own ends. Along with Skurge the Executioner, whom she seduced and kept in her thrall, Amora joined forces with Baron Zemo’s first incarnation of the Masters of Evil and battled the Avengers. Although she has come to Asgard's aid in the past, Amora remained an opportunist who sided with whoever furthered her own personal agenda. During the most recent Ragnarok, she was one of the first Asgardians to perish during Loki's initial attack on Mir-Krul. Afterward, Thor used the Odinpower to resurrect most of the fallen Asgardians, including Amora. Since then, she attempted to use her magic to resurrect her departed paramour Skurge through Yggdrasil's roots. These actions placed the World Tree in jeopardy and would've caused all existence to end when the Nine Worlds of Asgard crashed upon each other, but Amora was stopped by Thor, Balder, and Loki.

Height: 6'3"
Weight: 450 pounds
Eyes: Green
Hair: blonde

Abilities/accessories: Amora possesses the conventional superhuman physical attributes of an Asgardians goddess, able to lift about 25 tons. Amora's magical powers derived from two main sources: her innate capacity to manipulate ambient magical energy at her acquired knowledge of Asgardians spells and enchantments. The main focus of her powers has been the enhancement of her own natural beauty and allure so that man (mortal and otherwise) become overwhelmed with desire for her. She enchanted her lips so that a single kiss is sufficient to make most men obedient to her every command for about a week. She can also project magical power-bolts, cast illusions, induce temporary paralysis, deflect matter and energy, and create interdimensional apertures. Her spells and enchantments are more powerful when used in the Asgardian dimension.
